BrainsWay backs behavioural health platform Sound Minds with $500K stake

What's the deal? BrainsWayDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → (NASDAQ and TASE: BWAY) has made a $500,000 minority-stake investment in Sound Minds Behavioral, an outpatient behavioural health platform. The medical device firm invested through a preferred, annually compounding security in a deal executed with CM Counsel Management LLC, which does business as Sound Minds Behavioral.

Who's Sound Minds? The platform runs outpatient behavioural health locations across Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. S. Friedman, Abramson & Co. Law Offices advised BrainsWay on the transaction.

What's the endgame? BrainsWay says the deal supports its strategy of partnering with growth-oriented mental health providers. The aim is to expand access to interventional psychiatry and evidence-based care.

Why now? This is BrainsWay's second such move in as many months. In May 2026, it took a similar minority preferred stake in the Hopemark Health platform.

The signal: BrainsWay, known for its Deep TMS technology, is building a network of provider partnerships alongside its device business — a bet that owning stakes in care delivery can widen the market for its treatments.
