Delta Equity Partners hits €125M hard cap for Fund II in four months
What's the deal? Netherlands-based private equity investor Delta Equity PartnersDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has closed its Delta Equity Partners Technology & Health Fund II Coöperatief at its hard cap of €125m ($142m). The fund closed within four months and was significantly oversubscribed.
Who backed it? Almost all investors from Delta's first fund returned for Fund II, joined by several new institutional investors. "The strong level of support from our Fund I investors is a clear endorsement of our strategy," said partner John Luijs.
What's the endgame? Fund II will follow the same strategy as its predecessor: backing growing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the technology and health sectors. Delta supports entrepreneurs and management teams with capital, knowledge, and network for strategic buy-and-builds.
Why now? Delta says its organisation and infrastructure are now further developed. "We can execute our strategy more efficiently and we expect to announce the first Fund II investments soon," said partner Niels van Aalten.
The signal: Delta, founded in 2021, has already backed occupational health provider Verdi Group since December 2022 and The Health Transformation Group, a cluster of Dutch healthcare consulting firms, since April 2024. A fast, oversubscribed close signals continued investor appetite for focused technology and health buy-and-build plays.
