Bank Respublika lands €15M debt deal from Finnfund for green lending, MSMEs

Tariyel Ismayilov, chairman of the management board at Bank Respublika, called the deal "another important step in strengthening our collaboration with international financial institutions."
The signal: Development financiers are increasingly routing money through local banks to reach underserved MSMEs and green borrowers. For Bank Respublika, the deal signals growing confidence from international lenders in Azerbaijan's banking sector.
