Warehouse Anywhere buys XPS Solutions to link business storage supply and demand

What's the deal? Denver-based Warehouse AnywhereDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has acquired XPS SolutionsDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a self-storage contact centre and remote management provider based in Richardson, Texas. Financial terms were not disclosed. XPS will keep its name and operate as a Warehouse Anywhere company.

What does each company do? Warehouse Anywhere runs a technology platform that matches US businesses with flexible, on-demand storage across more than 17,000 locations. XPS Solutions, founded in 2000, provides live agent services, remote management, and tenant support technology to self-storage operators.

What's the endgame? The deal positions Warehouse Anywhere to connect both sides of the business self-storage market: the businesses that need space and the operators that provide it. XPS adds call centre expertise, integrations with more than 10 top facility management software platforms, and AI-enabled support tools.

Why now? Self-storage is a multi-billion dollar market that has focused on real estate and consumer tenants, leaving business customers underserved. Their needs around flexibility, scale, and service quality differ from those of individual renters.

Together the companies bring nearly 40 years of combined industry data, which they say will inform smarter business placements and better operator outcomes.

What they're saying: "This acquisition is about raising the bar for what business storage can look like," said Laura Holmes, chief executive officer of Warehouse Anywhere.

John Traver, chief executive officer of XPS Solutions, said the platform "understands the value of the business customer," adding that operators "who want to compete on something more than price per square foot are going to feel it."

The signal: The tie-up reflects a push to layer technology and service onto a storage market long defined by physical real estate. By combining a demand-side marketplace with operator-facing infrastructure, Warehouse Anywhere is betting that the business tenant segment is large enough to warrant its own end-to-end platform.
