J&T Arch II raises €300M in first close, targets Prague listing

What's the deal? J&T Arch II, a qualified investors' fund tied to Czech-Slovak financial group J&T, raised nearly €300 million (7.2 billion korunas) in its first three-month subscription period. Founding J&T families contributed about €155 million; external investors supplied the rest.

Why now? The fund plans to announce its first investment after closing the transaction in July. It is also working to list on the Prague Stock Exchange.

What's the endgame? J&T Arch II follows J&T Arch InvestmentsDealroom has a profile for this one. Both funds back businesses, projects, and partnerships the group has helped build since the 1990s.

The first fund's assets under management rose by three billion korunas in the first quarter of 2026 to 206 billion korunas. It trades on the Prague exchange, where the fund says it ranks among the most liquid titles and is the first to trade continuously.

What did they say? "The result of the first subscription confirms continued investor interest in J&T Arch funds," said Adam Tomis, a member of the fund's investment committee.

The signal: A €300 million first close and a planned Prague listing point to sustained appetite for J&T's investment platform, extending a model that has already made its predecessor the region's biggest qualified investors' fund.
