Miralta AM launches flexible mixed fund to navigate geopolitical uncertainty
What's the deal? Miralta Asset Management (AM), the fund manager of Spanish bank MiraltabankDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, has launched Miralta Atlas Global, a flexible mixed fund built for active management in a climate of economic and geopolitical uncertainty. The fund carries equity exposure that can swing between 30% and 75%, with a €100 minimum investment.
How does it work? The management team can adjust the portfolio using investment funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), stocks, fixed income, and derivatives. The fund is aimed at investors sitting between the most conservative and most dynamic profiles.
What's the strategy? Miralta Atlas Global builds on three structural themes: high debt levels across Western economies, governments prioritising national security, and a global reallocation of assets under a new international balance.
Where's the money going? The team is adding positions in Nordic corporate credit, which it says offers "rentabilidades superiores," and in the health sector — an industry it considers undervalued despite solid fundamentals and support from demographic trends such as an ageing population.
Why now? "Geopolitics, fiscal policy, and the strategic decisions of states have become determining variables for investment," the firm said. "In this context, we believe flexibility and the ability to adapt are more important than ever."
The signal: The launch reflects how managers are repositioning products around geopolitics and state policy as core investment drivers, rather than treating them as background risk.
