bk plus buys Cardiff's Accounted For as it deepens Welsh network

What's the deal? Aldridge-headquartered accountancy firm bk plus has acquired Accounted For, a practice based in Cardiff and Barry, expanding its footprint in South Wales. Terms were not disclosed. The acquired firm retains its local team and offices.

What each side does: bk plus serves SMEs and owner-managed businesses through more than 58 locations and over 900 employees nationally. Accounted For, led by Lee Eustace and Leanne Eustace, will keep serving existing clients, now with access to bk plus's specialist expertise and national resources.

Why now? The deal builds on bk plus's growing presence in Wales, where it already operates several offices. Chief executive Shaun Knight said Wales "has been an important part of our story for some time," calling the deal "a natural next step for us in a market we know well."

What changes for customers? Existing clients keep the same team but gain access to a wider service range. "The faces you know are staying, and the service you're used to isn't going anywhere," Knight said. Eustace said clients can now draw on specialist support in areas such as tax planning, corporate finance, and restructuring.
