Lovable's enterprise lead leaves $6.6B startup to launch third company
What's the deal? Alexander WikströmDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, who built Lovable's enterprise business, has left the $6.6 billion vibe-coding startup to launch his third company.
Wikström announced the departure on LinkedIn, hinting that "the enterprise needs something that doesn't exist yet." He offered no further details.
At Lovable, Wikström led enterprise sales, recruited the go-to-market team, and championed features like SSO and compliance. He also built internal AI agents using Lovable's own platform.
Why now? Wikström's exit comes as Lovable rides a steep growth wave. The Stockholm-based startup raised $330 million in December at a $6.6 billion valuation — more than tripling its $1.8 billion valuation from five months earlier.
The company hit $100 million in annual recurring revenue within eight months of launch, then doubled to $200 million four months later. Customers include Klarna, Uber, and Zendesk.
The signal: Vibe-coding — using AI to turn text prompts into working code — is one of tech's hottest sectors. Cursor raised $2.3 billion in November at a $29.3 billion valuation.
Wikström's move suggests enterprises may need specialised tools beyond what current platforms offer. His track record — two previous startups, including an AI company he sold — gives him credibility to build in this space.
