Defense tech unicorn Anduril builds second California hub with largest-ever Long Beach private investment

The site is explicitly designed for research, prototyping, and testing of Anduril's autonomous systems—including drones, loitering munitions, robotic submarines, and collaborative combat aircraft—rather than mass manufacturing.

Construction begins mid-2026, with the first building targeted for late 2027.
