Podium Passes $100M in AI Agent ARR on 300% Year-on-Year Growth

Podium has crossed $100 million in annual recurring revenue from AI agents less than two years after launching the product, according to social media posts by its founder and CEO Eric ReaDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →.

The milestone highlights the company’s rapid shift from customer messaging software towards AI-driven automation for small and medium-sized businesses.

The revenue figure relates specifically to AI agents rather than Podium’s wider platform. By the end of 2023, more than 60,000 local businesses were using Podium to manage leads and customer communications.

The company says increasing staffing pressures — including high turnover, after-hours demand and the cost of missed enquiries — exposed the limits of software alone.

In response, Podium rebuilt its platform around AI agents designed to operate as automated users rather than chatbots. These agents handle tasks such as qualifying and scheduling leads, following up with customers and managing routine interactions, working continuously within existing workflows.

Podium says more than 10,000 AI agents are now live in production and reports AI revenue growth of more than 300% year on year.
