Deep33 Ventures Launches $150M Fund Focused on U.S.–Israel Deep Tech Collaboration

Deep33 Ventures, a newly formed deep-tech investment firm, has emerged from stealth with the launch of a $150 million fund aimed at backing Israeli startups and supporting their expansion through closer collaboration with U.S. companies.

The firm said it has already secured around $100 million in capital commitments, completing a first close of the fund.

The firm is led by entrepreneurs and investors Lior Prosor and Michael Broukhim. Prosor has previously invested in companies including Via Transportation, Lemonade and Carbyne, while Broukhim is the co-founder of FabFitFun and an active investor in technology companies spanning software, infrastructure and frontier technologies.

Deep33’s strategy centres on deep-tech sectors such as artificial intelligence, advanced computing, energy systems and autonomous technologies. The firm positions itself as a bridge between the Israeli and U.S. innovation ecosystems, seeking to help portfolio companies raise capital, access customers and form strategic partnerships across both markets.

The launch comes against a broader macro backdrop of increased geopolitical tension and industrial reshoring, particularly in areas such as semiconductors, data infrastructure and defence-related technologies.

Prosor has said these trends, rather than country-specific dynamics alone, are shaping the next wave of deep-tech investment, with Israel well positioned due to its concentration of technical talent and research institutions.

Deep33 is also adding a group of senior advisors with backgrounds in defence, intelligence, science and government, reflecting its focus on complex, capital-intensive technologies. Lior Susan, founder of Eclipse Ventures, is joining as chairman, alongside advisors with experience in quantum research, national security and advanced engineering.
