The founding team previously worked on Apple’s Face ID technology, contributing to depth-sensing and perception systems that later became central to the iPhone’s biometric capabilities.

Lyte positions its technology as infrastructure for a wide range of robotics applications, from industrial automation and mobile robots to humanoids and autonomous vehicles.
In addition to software, the company is developing custom silicon and optical components, aiming to simplify what is often a lengthy and complex sensor-integration process for robotics manufacturers.
