Eternos Becomes Uare.ai with $10.3M to Build Personalized AI Identities

After nearly three decades leading LivePerson, Robert LoCascioDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →’s next venture aims to capture something even more personal — human individuality. His new company, originally called Eternos, began as a way for people to preserve their voices and life stories for loved ones after death. The idea gained attention in 2024 when its first client, Michael Bommer, created a digital replica of himself before passing away.

But LoCascio soon noticed that most users weren’t preparing for death — they wanted to use the technology while still alive. That realization led to a pivot and rebrand: Eternos is now Uare.ai , and the startup has raised $10.3 million in seed funding from Mayfield and Boldstart Ventures . Its goal is to help individuals create personal AI models that mirror their voice, knowledge, and decision-making, enabling them to scale their expertise for professional or creative work.

Uare.ai’s core technology, the Human Life Model (HLM) , builds each AI using only a person’s own data, rather than training on general large language models. Users will train their models through guided text, voice, or video interactions that capture both personal stories and professional experience. The company plans to monetize through subscriptions or by taking a share of revenue generated from users’ digital twins.

While other startups like Sequoia-backed Delphi are experimenting with celebrity replicas, Uare.ai is positioning itself for professionals and creators who want to extend their capabilities — turning personal AI into a new kind of productivity tool.
