Wonderful’s $100M Plan to Make AI Agents Work Everywhere

Just months after emerging from stealth, Israeli startup Wonderful has raised $100 million in Series A funding led by Index Ventures. The new round values the company at around $700 million and comes on the heels of a $34 million seed round in July — a rare pace even in today’s fast-moving AI landscape. For a startup barely a year old, the message is clear: investors believe Wonderful isn’t just another GPT wrapper, but an early contender to define what enterprise-grade AI agents can actually look like in production.

Founded by Bar Winkler and Roey Lalazar , Wonderful builds AI agents that serve customers across voice, chat, and email — in every language and cultural context. The platform plugs deeply into enterprise systems, allowing agents to handle complex customer interactions like billing disputes and account changes, while achieving resolution rates above 80%. Its secret sauce lies not just in the technology, but in the local adaptation: each deployment is fine-tuned for linguistic nuance, cultural norms, and regulatory compliance. It’s this combination of precision engineering and on-the-ground execution that’s driving what Winkler calls “accelerated adoption” across markets.

Since launching earlier this year, Wonderful has expanded into Italy, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Greece, Poland, Romania, the Baltics, the Adriatics, and the UAE , with Amsterdam chosen as its new European headquarters. The next frontier: Germany, Austria, the Nordics, and Portugal in 2025 , followed by a move into Asia-Pacific in early 2026 . For investors like Index Ventures’ Hannah Seal , Wonderful represents something larger than a hot new AI company.
