Lauxera Capital Closes €400M HealthTech Fund for Global Expansion

Lauxera Capital Partners, the Paris- and San Francisco–based growth equity firm, has closed its second fund, Lauxera Growth II, at €400 million, strengthening its position as a leading backer of European health technology scale-ups.

Lauxera, founded in 2020 by Pierre MoustialDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, Samuel LevyDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, and Alex SlackDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, operates with a transatlantic model that combines capital investment with strategic and operational support.

The new fund follows Lauxera Growth I, which closed at €260 million and backed a dozen high-growth companies across digital health, diagnostics, and medical software, reflecting the firm’s strategy of identifying European companies capable of becoming global healthtech leaders.

With Growth II, Lauxera plans to build on that portfolio by backing late-stage European healthtech firms poised for international expansion, particularly those seeking to scale operations and enter the U.S. market. The fund is designed to help bridge the financing and commercialization gap that often limits Europe’s most promising medical technology companies.

Lauxera’s cross-Atlantic structure and operational expertise position it to fill that gap—helping European innovators expand globally while retaining a stronger industrial base in Europe’s life sciences ecosystem.
