Fuse Energy Hits $300 Million Revenue Amid Rapid Growth
Fuse Energy, a UK-based energy startup founded in 2022 by former Revolut executives Alan Chang and Charles O., has reached a major milestone, surpassing $300 million in revenue just months after exceeding $100 million. The company supplies UK homes with lower-cost, cleaner electricity and became a unicorn earlier this year.
Since its founding, Fuse Energy has experienced explosive growth. The startup reached 50,000 customers this summer, doubled to 100,000 in August, and quickly climbed to 150,000 users just weeks later. Revenue growth has followed a similar trajectory: it took two years to hit a $100 million run rate, then a few weeks to reach $200 million, and now the company has surpassed $300 million.
This rapid expansion positions Fuse Energy among the fastest-growing startups in Europe. The company attributes its success to its full-stack energy model, ambitious expansion plans—including entry into the US market—and the experience of its founders, who previously scaled financial services at Revolut.
Fuse Energy’s trajectory underscores the increasing role of tech-driven startups in reshaping traditional energy markets, offering consumers cleaner and more affordable electricity at scale.
