Figure Becomes a $39B Giant Overnight — The Robot Invasion Just Got Funded

AI robotics company Figure has secured over $1 billion in Series C funding , catapulting its valuation to $39 billion , up from $2.6 billion just last year. The round was led by Parkway Venture Capital and included strategic backing from major tech players such as NVIDIA, Intel Capital, LG Technology Ventures, Salesforce, T-Mobile Ventures , and Qualcomm Ventures . The sheer size and quality of investors signal enormous conviction in Figure’s vision of humanoid automation.

Founded and led by Brett Adcock, Figure is building AI-powered humanoid robots designed to address labor shortages and replace humans in repetitive, hazardous, or physically demanding tasks. While most robotics companies are still in experimental stages, Figure is aggressively pushing toward real-world deployment—aiming to bring robots not only into factories and warehouses but also into households and commercial spaces .

The company plans to use the capital to scale manufacturing of its robot platforms, expand data collection pipelines, and accelerate training via simulation and real-world use cases . A major part of this effort includes scaling its AI infrastructure—especially its proprietary platforms Helix (AI control) and BotQ (robot manufacturing). The funding also strengthens Figure's supply chain and hiring pipeline as it grows its presence in San Jose, California and globally.

Figure now sits among the top contenders in the humanoid robotics race, competing with efforts from Tesla, Meta, and other deep-pocketed players . With $1B+ of fresh capital and a clear commercialization strategy, it is uniquely positioned to convert high-concept robotics into practical, scalable applications. The next wave of automation may have a face—and it could belong to Figure.
