Serve Robotics (NASDAQ: SERV), a leader in autonomous sidewalk delivery solutions, has acquired Vayu Robotics , a specialist in urban navigation powered by large-scale AI foundation models. This move marks a strategic leap in the integration of "physical AI" within real-world robotics operations.

Combining Serve’s real-world sidewalk dataset and autonomy stack with Vayu’s foundation-model approach and photorealistic simulation engine enables training of richer, more robust models. The result: safer, faster, and more generalizable navigation —ideal for complex urban deployments and growth into new environments like bike lanes and road edges.


Vayu's technology specifically enhances Serve's 3rd-generation robots running on NVIDIA Orin edge AI. The collaboration promises to speed up product development and operational readiness.


With scalable simulation and foundation models at play, Serve can now train systems using edge-case-rich, simulated data—upgrading safety and reducing operational costs. This capability also strengthens Serve’s positioning to enter new customer verticals and global markets quickly.
