From AlphaGo to Roster AI: Elliot’s AI Journey Sparks Startup Success at 15
At just 15 years old, Stockholm-based Elliot Evertsson Norrevik launched Roster AI , an AI-driven customer support automation platform targeting e-commerce brands. Driven by a fascination with AI sparked by DeepMind’s AlphaGo and subsequent exposure to ChatGPT, Elliot aims to make efficient AI support accessible to smaller merchants.
Elliot built his first startup at 14. Within months, Roster AI onboarded multiple paying clients—typically e-commerce businesses earning $10–20M annually—and achieved projected early revenue of ~$70K in its first year , with profitability expected soon.
Recognizing that customer support staffing is expensive for hosts, Elliot built intelligent chatbots that automate responses by analyzing product catalogues and FAQs—reducing support costs and improving response times. Initial traction came from testing via Facebook groups, followed by interest from investors and LinkedIn outreach.
Elliot continues schooling, often studying by day and programming at night—acknowledging he has seven fewer hours than competitors. He credits his strong work ethic and efficiency for squeezing productivity into long evenings after class.
In late 2023 and early 2024, Elliot received a scholarship from Bling Capital , recognizing his drive and entrepreneurial spirit. He envisions moving Roster AI to global scale and eventually pivoting toward broader ventures like AGI development and global consumer products.
