The firm focuses on creating original animated intellectual properties (IP), particularly in the science fiction and fantasy genres, and developing them across a full industry chain including games, comics, merchandise, and other derivatives. The company was co-founded by Dong Xiangbo and Chen Wei. Dong serves as the creator and director for key projects, while Chen is the chief producer and art director. YHKT is behind several high-profile Chinese animated series. Its breakout original IP, "Ling Cage: Incarnation" (灵笼), is a post-apocalyptic sci-fi action series that premiered in 2019 and is broadcast on Bilibili. The series has garnered significant viewership, with over 10 billion cumulative views across various platforms, and has been recognized with awards like the Golden Dragon Award and the Golden Dolphin Award.
