Slurrp Farm, operating under its parent company Wholsum Foods Private Limited, is a food brand in the children's health food sector. It was founded in 2016 by Meghana Narayan, Shauravi Malik, and Umang Bhattacharyya. The inspiration for the company came when co-founders Narayan and Malik, as mothers themselves, identified a lack of nutritious and convenient meal options for their own children in the Indian market.

The founders' backgrounds are complementary to the business. Meghana Narayan has a background in public health from her time at McKinsey & Company and is a decorated national-level swimmer for India. Shauravi Malik brings over a decade of experience in finance from her roles at J.P. Morgan and Sir Richard Branson's Virgin Group. Umang Bhattacharyya, the creative director, has a background in visual arts and is responsible for the brand's distinct identity.

Slurrp Farm operates on a direct-to-consumer (D2C) and omnichannel business model, selling its products through its own website and major e-commerce platforms like Amazon, BigBasket, and FirstCry. It also has a significant offline presence, with products available in thousands of retail stores across numerous cities in India, as well as in international markets including the UAE, US, UK, and Singapore. Revenue is generated through the sale of its food products across these various channels. For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2024, the company reported revenue of ₹73.2 crore.

The company's product portfolio consists of over 25 items, all centered around the use of millets like ragi, jowar, and foxtail millet, along with other superfoods. Product categories include toddler and kid cereals, millet-based pancakes, dosa mixes, noodles, pasta, and natural sweeteners. These products are formulated without artificial additives, preservatives, or refined sugar, targeting health-conscious parents of children aged 0-12 in urban areas. A key milestone for the company was raising a $7.2 million Series C funding round in January 2024, bringing its total funding to $18.3 million over six rounds.
