Recently, Niqo expanded into North America with the Niqo RoboThinner, a specialized solution for automating lettuce thinning with 97% accuracy.

Niqo Robotics primarily serves small and marginal farmers, who constitute a large portion of the agricultural landscape in India. The company operates on a Sprayer-as-a-Service model in India, where village-level entrepreneurs lease the AI-powered sprayers and offer acreage-based services, making the technology accessible without a large capital outlay from individual farmers. For international markets like North America and Australia, the strategy shifts towards selling the products through OEM channels with a recurring revenue component. The company has secured $22.2 million in total funding over five rounds, with its latest Series B round in April 2024 raising $13 million.
