Inner Logic Inc., formerly known as Semaphor Surgical, provides a simulation and AI software infrastructure for the development and testing of procedural medical devices. Their collective expertise, spanning over 400 publications and 40 patents, forms the company's scientific foundation. Inner Logic’s core technology combines physics-based simulation, computer vision, and 3D digital twins, creating an intelligence layer that allows surgical tools and robotic systems to perceive, plan, and act in real-time. This infrastructure is vendor-neutral and designed to integrate with existing clinical and regulatory workflows, providing traceable and documented development cycles to support regulatory submissions. The ultimate goal is to enable the creation of intelligent and autonomous surgical systems, making high-quality care more consistent and accessible. In July 2026, the company announced an $11.5 million seed funding round co-led by General Catalyst and Bison Ventures to expand its simulation platform.
