Evotrex is a California-based company developing intelligent, power-generating recreational vehicles (RVs) designed for off-grid travel without limits. The company emerged from stealth mode on November 6, 2025, with $16 million in Pre-A funding. The funding round was led by Xstar Capital, with participation from Unity Ventures, Kylinhall Partners, Vision Plus Capital, and the founders of Anker Innovations.

The company was founded by a team of veterans from the power technology and electric vehicle industries, including CEO Alex Xiao, who spent over a decade building Anker into a leading mobile charging brand. He is joined by co-founders Bruce Yang (CTO), a former R&D leader at Geely Group, Stella Qin (Chief Brand Officer), an alumna of Anker with van-life experience, and Jack Zhan (COO), who has a background in supply chain management at Lenovo, IBM, and Anker. The founding team's journey began after Xiao and Qin spent seven months researching the RV market, identifying a growing demographic of younger adventurers seeking to take their equipment to remote, off-grid locations.

Evotrex's primary product is a hybrid RV travel trailer that integrates a battery system with a gasoline engine. This serial hybrid system powers the trailer's onboard amenities—such as HVAC, lighting, and induction cooking—primarily from the battery. The gasoline engine then functions as an integrated generator to recharge the battery, enabling extended stays in remote locations without reliance on external power sources or traditional loud generators. The system is also designed to capture and reuse waste heat from the engine to help warm the cabin. This model targets adventurers who want modern comforts and reliable power for activities like skiing and fishing, far from conventional campgrounds.

Manufacturing is planned to take place mostly in China, with final assembly in California. Evotrex aims to disrupt the RV market alongside other startups like Lightship and Pebble by catering to a younger, tech-savvy, and eco-conscious consumer base. The company plans to fully unveil its first product at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January 2026 and aims to begin shipping by the end of that year.
