EnduroSat

EnduroSat is a Bulgarian aerospace manufacturer that designs, builds, and operates CubeSats and Nanosatellites for commercial, scientific, and exploration missions. The company was founded in 2015 by Raycho Raychev, who serves as the CEO. Before establishing EnduroSat, Raychev founded Space Challenges, a major space educational program in Europe, reflecting his long-standing passion for space exploration and technology.

The company's business model revolves around two primary streams: the direct sale of satellite hardware and a 'Space-as-a-Service' offering. The service model simplifies access to space by managing the entire mission lifecycle, including satellite design, payload integration, launch, and in-orbit operations, for a fixed cost. EnduroSat serves a global client base of over 350 customers.

EnduroSat provides standardized CubeSat platforms in various sizes, along with a range of satellite modules such as communication systems, onboard computers, power modules, and solar panels. A key feature is the use of software-flexible satellites and a modular design, which allows for faster assembly and repurposing for different missions, significantly reducing costs and time-to-orbit. The company has successfully launched multiple missions, including Bulgaria's first CubeSat, 'EnduroSat One', in 2018, and shared satellite missions like SPARTAN.

Headquartered in Sofia, Bulgaria, the company has expanded its operations with offices in Germany, Italy, France, Luxembourg, and the United States. To meet growing demand, EnduroSat opened a large Space Center in Sofia, capable of producing up to two 200-500kg ESPA-class satellites per day. The company has secured significant funding from investors including Founders Fund, Google Ventures, CEECAT Capital, and the European Investment Bank.
