Open robot leasing platform for business automation. MoreLess

Botshare operates an open robot leasing platform in China, designed to make advanced robotics more accessible to businesses. The company functions as a comprehensive marketplace that connects robot manufacturers, service providers, content creators, and end-users seeking on-demand rental solutions. This Robotics-as-a-Service (RaaS) model addresses the high upfront costs and complex service chains that have traditionally hindered the widespread adoption of robotic technology. Clients can lease robots for a variety of uses, including corporate events, marketing activations, and stage performances, without a significant initial investment.

The company was established in December 2025 through a collaboration of embodied intelligence specialists, including Zhiyuan Robotics (AgiBot) and Feikuo Tech. The platform officially launched on December 22, 2025, in Shanghai. Botshare has demonstrated rapid growth, securing hundreds of millions of yuan through Angel, Angel+, and Seed funding rounds within three months of its founding, reaching a valuation of approximately $414 million. Key investors include Hillhouse Ventures, Fosun Rong Capital, Broad-Ocean Motor, and THE Capital. The leadership team includes former executives from Alibaba, with Jiang Qingsong as Chairman and Li Yiyan as CEO.

Botshare's business model allows businesses to flexibly allocate, rapidly deploy, and pay for robotic services based on performance. The platform offers an ecosystem for service providers to operate on a light-asset basis, gaining access to a supply of robots and integrated support. Since its launch, the platform has processed over 5,500 orders and has a capacity of more than 3,000 deployable robotic units. The company has ambitious growth plans, aiming to expand its network to over 200 cities, onboard more than 10 robot manufacturers, and serve over 400,000 rental customers by the end of 2026.
