About Band
Band.ai is an Israeli startup that has developed a universal communication platform for artificial intelligence agents. Founded in mid-2025 by CEO Arick Goomanovsky and CTO Vlad Luzin, the company is headquartered in Kokhav Yair, Israel, with a presence in San Francisco. Band.ai emerged from stealth in April 2026, securing $17 million in a seed funding round led by Sierra Ventures, Hetz Ventures, and Team8.
The founders bring a wealth of experience to the venture. Goomanovsky is a serial entrepreneur and a graduate of the Israeli military's Unit 8200. He previously co-founded Sygnia, which was acquired by Temasek for $250 million, and Ermetic, which Tenable acquired for approximately $300 million. Luzin has over two decades of experience in development and product management at companies like Verint, CME Group, and Samsung, where he led a multi-agent systems team in the early 2000s.
The company's core product is an enterprise-grade infrastructure platform designed to facilitate real-time, multi-peer collaboration between AI agents, as well as between agents and humans. As organizations deploy numerous specialized AI agents for various tasks like development, security, and operations, Band.ai aims to solve the resulting coordination and communication bottleneck. The platform acts as a universal interaction layer, enabling agents built on different frameworks (such as LangChain and CrewAI), third-party SaaS agents, and personal AI assistants to discover each other, share context, delegate tasks, and collaborate on complex workflows. This eliminates the need for manual interventions and fragile custom integrations.
Band.ai's platform provides a unified interface and a runtime control plane that allows organizations to enforce policies, define permissions, and maintain transparency across all systems. It is designed to be a foundational communication layer for the emerging "agentic economy," where numerous autonomous agents will need to interact securely and efficiently across different companies and platforms. The company serves developers, R&D teams, and enterprises seeking to build and govern scalable multi-agent architectures. Early adopters are utilizing the platform for software development, enterprise automation, and advanced R&D.
