About AvantGuard
Our mission is to replace topical antibiotics with a nature-inspired proven biocide that is safe, kills all pathogens (bacteria, virus, fungi), and has no history of resistance generation. Topical antibiotics are a $6 billion market. Given their value to society, antibiotics should be reserved for when they are the only alternative, namely oral and intravenous application. Alternative biocides with less risk for resistance generation should be used topically and we have developed a safe and effective one based on our cells' own immune response.
